It was so nice to wake up this morning to a thin blanket of snow on the ground. I finished putting up Christmas decorations yesterday, and now that it is snowing, I am ready for the Christmas/winter/holiday season. As much as I would like to live in a place where winter only lasts for 3o days (does such a place exist?)--as this gives me just enough time to enjoy sitting by the fire, sipping hot cocoa, and layering on clothes, hats, and gloves,--I cannot imagine living somewhere where there weren't the four seasons to enjoy and remind one of the cycles of life.

I, too, enjoy living in a place with all four seasons. It is wonderful to see the changes.. however, in about a month I am going to be complaining that I am ready for summer :)
Believe it or not it gets really, really cold here in Phoenix during the winter (and you have to wear winter clothes--gloves, cap, scarve, etc!!!)...there is no snow...but drive about an hour or two north and you can go enjoy it for a day or a weekend!!! Not a bad deal!!!
Hey, I loooooove the arm warmers and scarve you are wearing in your photos on the right...did you make them? Or where did you get them? I love them!
